Immerse yourself in one of the world’s famous university cities. With the centre of London less than an hour away by train and social trips to popular tourist sites included, you will have plenty of time to experience all the best that England has to offer.
Our exciting range of courses will allow you to complement your existing studies or help you discover a new passion. Study the works of Shakespeare and bring his plays to life, unravel the history of the English legal system and examine how modern day England is policed, understand the science behind the big questions of how and why humans behave the way we do, and more.
You'll join us for four weeks of full-time study split into two sessions. You have the option to choose one module from each session. When you apply, please select your first choice module for each session, as well as two back-up choices for each session.
Socializing and Trips
A variety of group trips will be provided, to likely include:
Stratford upon Avon – the birthplace of William
Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history.
Oxford – explore another of the UK’s famous
university cities, where you’ll be able to visit
museums, markets, libraries, botanic gardens
London – spend the day enjoying all that this global
city has to offer. Our university staff will be on hand
to advise you on the best places to go to suit your
interests and studies. An evening meal provided
before returning to Cambridge.
Weekly socials – gather together for weekly
events like pizza and games night to get to know
your fellow students.
USC Upstate students must receive prior approval from their academic department for credit hour transfer. This will be completed as part of the application process.
Program fee: £3,200*, payable directly to Anglia Ruskin University.
*Register by March 1st for a £300 discount.

Students will stay in one of the Anglia Ruskin campus residence halls during their 2 or 4 week stay. Housing is included in the program fee.
Early planning and application is very important in preparation for going abroad. Students may start their application for studying abroad at any time. However, submitted applications will be reviewed only during the application cycle of the respective program. Passport information is not required to start your study abroad application; although a valid passport is required to take part in any international program.

There are two phases in the USC Upstate study abroad application: pre-decision and post-decision. Students who complete the first half of the application will then be asked to confirm or withdraw their application. Students who confirm their participation will then have access to the post-decision portion of the application. All application requirements in both phases of the application must be completed in order for an applicant to participate in a study abroad program.
Before paying the non-refundable application fee and deposit, applicants are encouraged to first complete all other components of the pre-decision application.
After completing the USC Upstate application, students will be given instructions on how to proceed with application through Anglia Ruskin University.
