Degree Completion

Degree Completion Program at University of South Carolina Upstate (USC Upstate) provides opportunities to students from institutions abroad to transfer their coursework and earn a degree from USC Upstate. This program is available to applicants from any college or university abroad. Applicants may choose any major, regardless of their prior program of study at their home university.
The duration of program of study at USC Upstate, and requirements for graduation, will depend on the number of transfer credit hours that are accepted and applicable towards degree completion at USC Upstate. Students who do not satisfy English language proficiency requirements may need to enroll in English language course(s), which may extend length of the program. Please consult admission requirements regarding English language proficiency.
Students who have already been admitted or enrolled as non-degree seeking and enrolled in a semester abroad program at USC Upstate may apply to change their status into degree-seeking. However, applicants should first inquire if this option is available to them; some university partnership agreements may not allow visiting students to change from visiting student to degree-seeking status.

Please visit USC Upstate Admissions webpages for detailed application instructions.
